Overview of the Role

As the Team Assistant for the Dutch Tax business unit, you will play a key role in supporting and improving efficiency of departments daily operations. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is excited about the opportunity to grow and develop alongside the team it supports.

The ideal candidate will be well-organised, structured and with a positive attitude to their work – to play a key role as the “go-to” person that brings the team together.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the day-to-day operations of the team ensuring smooth functioning.
  • Support Managing Directors with their agendas upon request.
  • Manage travel arrangements (parking, cars, trains, hotels, flights, visas).
  • Book meeting rooms, attend team meetings and take minutes.
  • Coordinate financial administration.
  • Facilitate internal communications across the wider team.
  • Take part in external communications and some marketing efforts (i.e. LinkedIn posts).
  • Events planning and management, such as: lunches, meetings, offsites and team socials.
  • Collaborate with local administrative team.
  • Liaise with the UK and Operations, IT, finance and Sales&Marketing teams for needed matters.
  • Assist and inform the team on internal (IT) procedures and tools.
  • Update internal CRM system (salesforce) with information when required.  

Requirements:

  • Previous administrative/secretarial experience would be a big plus.
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English language is a must.
  • Team-player who can also operate independently when required.
  • Proactive approach and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
  • Organised, multitasking and able to prioritize.
  • Preferably advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
