We’re growing and looking for a Billings expert to join the team. You will an integral part of the Finance team, (currently 2 in Malaysia, 3 in Singapore and 4 in Australia) for the Southeast Asia & Australia (SEAA) region. Reporting to the Finance Manager SEA and AU, you will have primary responsibility managing the end-to-end AR billing function for Australia and cross over support responsibilities within the SEA region.  

 

What you will be doing at A&M: 

 

  • Assisting the team to set up new project codes, complete the Conflicts checks and processing any further project set up changes. 

  • Providing guidance, as requested, on how to raise bills in the SSI billing tool. 

  • Supporting with client onboarding requests, including verifying our bank details.  

  • Liaising with billable staff and MDs to resolve any billing queries.  

  • Reviewing WIP and actioning any write-offs at the request of project managers/MDs. 

  • Allocating client bank receipts against invoices in Agresso and communicating client payments to the project MD. 

  • Monitoring aged receivables and informing MDs of overdue payments that need following up.  

  • Assisting the Finance Managers with month end close and EOFY reporting. 

  • Identifying and helping implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness. 

  • Performing any other duties and ad-hoc projects when assigned. 

 
 

What you will have to join the A&M team: 

 

  • Previous experience working in a billing role for a medium or large company, with professional services experience highly regarded. 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. 

  • Attention to detail with ability to prioritize and multi-task. 

  • Hands on approach, providing efficient deliverable outcomes to tasks and requests.  

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication to competently deal with all internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Organizational fit with A&M’s culture and values. 

  • Willingness to adapt and grow with the business.  

  • Based in Sydney
