The German Tax Team takes a truly holistic approach to the market, offering expertise across a diverse range of services—from Corporate Tax and Tax Compliance Services to Global Transaction Tax, Private Equity Funds Tax Compliance, VAT Services, People Services, Operating Model, and Transfer Pricing.

We are seeking an Analyst (m/f/d) - Corporate Tax for our growing team in Germany. This role will give you unique career opportunities in one of the fastest growing tax practices.

Purpose of the Role

The Analyst (m/f/d) - Corporate Tax will support a diverse portfolio of Corporate Tax and Tax Compliance services, ensuring compliance with Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Trade Tax (TT), and related regulations. The role focuses on delivering high-quality solutions to national and international clients across industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and draft corporate tax advice on a range of topics with senior team support

  • Provide ongoing tax consulting and support clients through the entire tax lifecycle, including tax returns, assessment reviews, appeals, and audits

  • Liaise with tax authorities and prepare documents for appeals and dispute resolution

  • Assist during tax audits by gathering and organizing the required documentation

  • Analyze tax regulations to address complex national and international tax law queries

  • Ensure accurate monitoring and review of tax compliance processes

  • Conduct tax computations and calculations for current and deferred taxes

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Completed training as a certified Tax Assistant (“Steuerfachangestellte:r”) or a similar qualification or/and a degree in economics, finance, or law
  • Ideally, initial practical experience in tax consulting, e.g., through internships or initial professional experience in tax advisory
  • Analytical skills and precise working methods
  • Flexibility and openness to new, varied challenges
  • Strong communication skills in German and English
  • Independent working style with a high sense of responsibility
