The Opportunity
Our European Valuation & Modelling Services business is dynamic and is expanding rapidly. Over the last 9 years we have established and built teams in London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Munich, Madrid and Paris. Our European team works as one joint team, with continuous peer interaction between offices, weekly European-wide update calls and regular social events and seamless cross-border staffing on international projects.
Our valuation and modelling services are focused on the areas of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Contentious Valuations, Complex Financial Instruments, Financial and Tax reporting and Business Modelling. After several years of rapid expansion, we have established A&M as one of the leading providers of valuation & modelling services across Europe.
Our Valuation & Modelling Services team in Germany has been involved in various landmark transactions and engagements. Due to our freedom from audit restrictions, high-quality work and ability to respond quickly to client requirements, we are expanding rapidly. A senior opportunity exists in our German offices in Frankfurt and Munich and we are looking for a highly regarded & experienced valuation professional to join us at Associate Director level. The successful appointee will play a key part in client project delivery, business & client development and team building.
Our base salaries are highly competitive with un-capped bonuses that are well known for both their fairness and generosity. Employees are rewarded for their contribution to growing both the Valuations business and A&M.

Responsibilities:
•    Engage in day-to-day client and project management on a high-quality level
•    Contribute to winning new engagements and to building/maintaining client relationships
•    Contribute to the development of the wider team through the provision of formal and informal training
•    Execute parts of the report writing and analyses for the most complex engagements
•    Participate in thought leadership and the (continuously) further refinement of our valuation approaches

We have a very strong track record of mentoring and developing our Directors to Senior Director and Managing Director level positions and successful candidates will benefit from both formal and informal learning & development. They will also be encouraged to network internally with our other service lines and to participate in external marketing events.

•    Valuations in a Restructuring context
•    Commercial Valuations for Mergers & Acquisitions
•    Valuations for Disputes & Litigation
•    Alternative Investments
•    PE Portfolio Valuations
•    Complex Financial Instruments
•    Intellectual Property Valuations
•    Fairness Opinions and Commercial Valuations    


The ideal candidate will have:
•    Extensive experience in Valuations gained at a Big 4 accounting firm or an independent advisory firm
•    Well-developed stakeholder management skills including managing key client relationships and expectations
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills
•    Fluent business level German and English is essential. Additional language skills are advantageous
•    Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
•    Ambitious, with a desire to succeed in an entrepreneurial culture
The successful candidate will possess deep functional knowledge and insight, a blend of operational and commercial skills and an entrepreneurial approach. Their client network will extend across the Private Equity, Legal & Corporate community and with business leaders more broadly. They will be seen as a trusted advisor.
