Overview:
The Analyst, Risk Management and Global Mobility will be responsible for assisting with monitoring key critical global alerts from our security vendor. Their primary responsibility will be to assist in tracking employee safety and mass communication status updates. In addition to risk management, the ideal candidate will assist with day-to-day global mobility administrative responsibilities as well.
Key Responsibilities:
- General -
- Identify areas of opportunity within our current mobility and immigration process and level-up the overall experience for employees and managers who are supporting the transitions.
- Pull and analyze reports upon request and at scheduled intervals.
- Risk Management -
- Serve as the Shared Services SME for monitoring company-wide use of third-party risk management platform and managing alerts through the platform.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and prioritize potential critical risk situations.
- Create and update company SOPs and best practices in risk management platform usage.
- Partner with various departments and the Business Continuity Team to facilitate effective communication and ensure all parties are informed of continuity measures and updates
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies tailored to the unique challenges of a global organization with 80+ office locations.
- Lead and coordinate response efforts in the event of a critical risk event.
- Prepare and assist with reports on critical alert check-ins.
- Perform with a high sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment by following up with employees in critical security check-ins.
- Vendor/Partnership Management -
- Evaluate and manage the security practices of third-party vendors providing services to the company.
- Assist leadership in ensuring that vendor adheres to security standards and contractual obligations.
- Global Mobility -
- Provide global mobility administrative support by preparing secondment letters and documentation, coordinating services provided through external vendors, and overall ensuring a seamless employee experience in support of a global mobility population.
- Monitor and respond to global mobility inquiries and proactively communicate and follow up with employees.
- Monitor Pre-Travel Short Term Tool with Business Traveler Vendor for compliance and follow up as required.
- Support major Risk Management & Global Mobility projects as needed
Key Requirements:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in risk assessments and tracking. Experience in global mobility tax, international relocation, US immigration, HR, or related experience is a plus
- Management consultancy background or in-house global security and/or mobility team experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to effectively interface with HR team and stakeholders
- Ability to work through ambiguity and flexibility; highly adaptable
- Strong customer service focus
- Experience managing projects with many moving parts, across multiple time zones

Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive a discretionary contribution to their 401(k) from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave. Compensation Statement:
- The salary range is $68,000 - $84,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
