The Financial Services Industry group advises the C-level of large European and French Financial Institutions (banks, insurances companies, wealth- and asset managers, payment and financial infrastructure operators, fintech, etc...) as well as Private Equity sponsors by proposing integrated advisory services along the whole value creation transformation: growth strategies, portfolio advisory and M&A, due-diligence, strategic transformation, performance improvement. A&M FSI also brings restructuring & turnaround expertise to distressed assets and companies.
We are now expanding our French Financial Services Industry team, and we are looking for ambitious Interns to be based in Paris and bound to work across the European team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to learn more about financial services advisory and become involved in a ‘hands-on’ team.
The successful candidate will:
• Join a growing team with strong leadership, bright and energetic people with a truly entrepreneurial spirit and a strong industry knowledge
• Acquire a sound understanding of the banking, insurance, wealth- and asset markets
• Gain exposure to the Financial institutions network
• Gain experience in strategy consulting and transformation approaches through projects and by supporting commercial development
• Operate in a pan-European team .
The main tasks will include:
• Work very closely with our senior management and support the business growth
• Support the commercial activity: structure and carry out essential research and market analysis and help to prepare “points of view” documents
• Participate in projects and be embedded in client-facing teams: preparing analysis and modelling, writing client documents, participating in workshops, etc.
• Assisting in managing intelligence on forthcoming deals, and working on targeting Financial Institutions
Requirements:
• Fluent French and English (both are mandatory) written and spoken, a third language is welcome
• At least a 6-months previous internship experience, preferably in financial services (banks, insurance, fintech, etc.) or M&A, strategy consulting, auditing, transaction services
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, sound business-sense
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Available and eligible for an internship of 6 months in France
