Senior Associate- Capital Markets

Key responsibilities:

  • Synthesize and own Capital markets assessments with detailed coverage on fundamental analysis, TSR analysis, TSR drivers/decomposition
  • Perform valuation benchmarks and co-relation to value drivers and TSR
  • Synthesize view on consensus estimates, Market perception and sentiment analysis
  • Analyse historical company performance for benchmarking financial metrics (P&L, CFS, BS), operational metrics and analyzing heavy data sets using pivot tables and derive conclusions.
  • Build extensive DCF and multiples-based valuation models building in forecasts
  • Synthesizing information into high quality client (financial) reports
  • Managing important work streams, including leading/mentoring A&M Analysts and Associates & owning the model work stream and presentation outputs.

Qualifications/ Ideal Experience

  • MBA (Finance) or CA with 3-9 years of work experience with Big 4s, leading strategy consulting firms
  • Strong problem-solving skills and financial background combined with deep understanding of key business and operational drivers.
  • Excellent analytical, financial modelling, writing, and presentation-building skills; attention to detail and striving to produce zero-defect deliverables.
  • Proven track record of mentoring junior analysts/associates on corporate finance topics and presentation making skills
  • Ability to prioritize - especially in highly pressured situations.
  • Ability to travel at short notice.
  • Varied cross sector background covering different industries (Pharma, Consumer, Industrial, Financial services)
