The Opportunity:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated DevSecOps Consultant to join our team in helping clients transform their software development and delivery processes. As a consultant, you will play a key role in guiding organizations to adopt DevSecOps principles, implement secure CI/CD pipelines, and build a culture of security throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

Client Engagement:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of client environments to understand their current software development practices, security posture, and business objectives.
  • Develop and present compelling proposals outlining DevSecOps solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Guide clients through the implementation of DevSecOps tools, processes, and best practices.
  • Provide expert advice and training to client teams on DevSecOps principles and methodologies.

Technical Expertise:

  • Design, build, and automate secure CI/CD pipelines using industry-leading tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar.
  • Implement and manage infrastructure-as-code solutions using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
  • Integrate security tools and processes into the CI/CD pipeline, including SAST, DAST, container security scanning, vulnerability management, and compliance automation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to DevSecOps implementations.
  • Collaborate effectively with client teams, including development, security, and operations, to drive successful DevSecOps adoption.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or related roles.
  • 2+ years of experience in a consulting role, ideally with a focus on DevSecOps or application security.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their security implications.
  • Practical experience with various security tools and practices (SAST, DAST, vulnerability scanning, container security).
