Our CFO Services team partners with organizations to navigate complex financial challenges, drive operational efficiencies, and enhance enterprise value. Our experts provide interim management, accounting remediation, and bankruptcy reporting to stabilize businesses in critical situations. We optimize liquidity through working capital improvements, cash flow forecasting, and treasury management. Leveraging data-driven insights, we enhance financial consolidations, reporting, and decision-making. Our approach ensures readiness for corporate transactions, IPOs, and capital market expectations while streamlining operations through process improvements, digital enablement, and tax optimization

Key responsibilities:

  • Review and deliver on day-to-day execution of projects / engagements to ensure successful delivery of client requirements; SSC experience is an additional advantage
  • Owning the project planning, process management and communicating progress to clients and leadership; Driving development of content, either directly or by providing guidance to the team (provide ideas, frameworks, inputs etc.,)
  • Manage project scope and maintain A&M pace of work; Deliver senior client presentation and good presentation skills; Draft and present reports for senior stakeholders
  • Coaching / mentoring the team on work, delivery, upskilling, excel skills, report writing etc.,
  • Strong execution support across various financial and operational systems:
    • CRM tools (e.g. salesforce)
    • Vendor management systems
    • Financial systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, FCCS, QuickBooks)
    • Expense management systems (e.g. Zoho, SAP Concur, Happay)
    • HRMS (e.g. Workday, success factors)
    • Payroll systems (HGS, Ascent etc.,)
    • Operational systems like time sheet management tools etc.,
    • Any other tools, dashboards, platforms, systems that clients use for their operations or business purposes
  • Strong program management skills across functions / departments and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Supporting and contributing to other projects, for example, by sharing expertise or best practices; Contributing to improvising of methodologies, tools, products, techniques and developing new ideas and approaches
  • Responsible for leading and independently managing CFO services kind of engagements:
    • Finance transformation projects (PEPI / Corporate clients)
      • Finance organizational design / service delivery model design
      • Financial system strategy, roadmap and selection
      • Digitally enabled finance & accounting
      • Rapid cost reductions
      • Taking control of finance function
      • Draft JDs, hire key finance stakeholders, training and transitioning
    • Finance performance improvements (PEPI / Corporate clients)
      • Vision and strategy development
      • Finance planning, reporting and analysis
      • Budgeting and forecasting
      • Working capital optimization
      • Management reporting / MIS support
      • Month-end close support
    • Merger integration & carve-out services (PEPI / Corporate clients)
      • Finance integration planning and execution support 
      • Synergy planning and capture
      • Integration / carve-out assessments / due-diligence
      • M&A performance improvement and play books
      • Finance diagnostic / implementation projects
  • Interact with leadership/ CXOs at clients during project delivery; Manage multiple stakeholders in client teams at all levels as well as within A&M; Ability to work seamlessly with multiple domestic / global teams (at client end as well as A&M)
  • Actively drive business development and practice management initiatives.

Educational Qualification & Skills:  MBA / PGDM with finance specialization from IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta or Indian School of Business or a CA topper in first attempt with 6 to 8 years of post-qualification experience.

Following experiences are desirable:

  • CFO services team from strategy consulting firms
  • Finance transformation / finance effectiveness experience from consulting firms
  • Finance controllership, financial planning & analysis etc.,
  • Post-merger finance integration exposure
  • Program/ Project Management in large scale cross-functional projects
  • Management consulting experience in any functional consulting area like Finance, MIS & MR etc.,
  • Leading large-scale cross-functional transformation programs.

Must Haves –

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Outstanding in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Team player with ability to work across large teams (internal and external).
