Job Description:
Work alongside other A&M professionals across a variety of client industries to help underperforming businesses navigate their restructuring process and create a lasting positive impact on the organization. Leveraging your resourcefulness and independent judgement, you will help develop solutions to critical problems to improve an organizations overall performance and enterprise value by developing and executing restructuring and turnaround plans. Apply analytical skills and deep understanding of accounting and finance to a diverse range of projects in turnaround, restructuring, bankruptcy and performance improvement. Build and manage 13 week cash flow forecast. Build a liquidation analysis to address feasibility of Plan of Reorganization. Work with clients to create a long-term business plan to track and manage business performance, manage working capital, and implement cost reduction initiatives. Implement cash conservation strategy and controls. Develop pre-bankruptcy plans and assist with bankruptcy case administration including supporting the handling of creditor constituents and preparing bankruptcy documents. Support marketing initiatives by assisting with the pitch preparation process. Lead a work stream within a project and coach and mentor junior resources. Domestic or international travel approx. 50% of time
Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, or closely related field and minimum 2 years of experience in any occupation involving associate level management consulting Must have restructuring consulting experience working with corporate restructuring and turnaround; business plan development and implementation; performing valuation to negotiate restructuring term sheet; managing working capital and conducting liquidation analyses; assessing key business operational performance drivers; audit and transaction advisory including managing diligence for cash flow forecast and credit agreements; building 3-statement financial models; implementing cash conservation guidelines and controls; and preparing bankruptcy documents including affidavit, declaration, and insolvency documents for Liquidator.
