Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Marketing Data & Analytics professional to join our Business Intelligence Unit. In this role you will leverage your advanced data and analytics skills to tell stories through data that trigger actionable insights for Global Marketing and its internal customers. You should have a deep understanding of data modelling, analytics, querying and visualization. You should be a detail-oriented, creative thinker, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for providing outstanding customer experience and insights through data. You will work with the Global Marketing team and business development personnel across A&M Business Units to make our business more competitive through the integrated provisioning of reliable, fit-for-purpose data-driven insights. Reports to: Director, CRM and Marketing Technologies Leader
Location: India (New Delhi)
Key responsibilities:
In this role you will:
- Be the steward of Marketing and CRM data and analytics
- Enhance the ingestion, modelling, querying and visualization of Marketing and Business Development data.
- Deliver high quality self-service reports and dashboards containing Marketing and business development data to address Gbl Marketing’s and internal customers’ needs
- Propose and manage initiatives to improve Marketing data & analytics across A&M
- Apply the necessary mechanisms to ensure the availability, consistency, security and compliance of Marketing data.
Qualifications/ Ideal Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Technology, Data Science, or a related field with advanced degree in Data Science.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Science and Analytics
• Relevant certifications in data analytics, data science, or related fields (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), Google Analytics Certification).
• Expertise in creating advanced data visualizations that effectively communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of data quality principles and KPIs, along with big data management, data harmonization and rationalization.
• Proficiency in a range of tools and technologies such as Marketing Cloud Intelligence (Datorama), Alteryx, Snowflake, PowerBI, Advanced Excel, Tableau and similar.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and automation.
• Knowledge of statistical methodologies and application of methods within data analytics. Experience using, writing and optimizing SQL queries in a business environment. Data Storytelling.
• Experience with machine learning algorithms and predictive analytics are a plus
• Experience in managing data and analytics initiatives, including timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication.
• Well-organized, high attention to detail, deadline oriented.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to establish credibility and influence clients.
• Strong team player, comfortable working in matrix environments.
• High motivation to learn and grow.
