Key responsibilities: You will be identifying and evaluating the key financial and operational drivers necessary to ensure a robust valuation partnership with managers and investors. You will address complex valuation challenges from critical investment, regulatory and strategic perspectives to assessing value at the fund, portfolio, and investment level.
As part of a select, highly skilled, and entrepreneurial team, you will have the opportunity to work on multiple valuation services. Some of the main responsibilities are:
  • Conduct thorough research on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor performance to support valuation analysis.
  • Apply valuation approaches (income, market, asset) and concepts, including the use of discount rates, premiums, and Black-Scholes modelling.
  • Build and review complex financial models, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and adherence to industry standards.
  • Demonstrate expertise in financial statements, key financial ratios, and forecasting models to support valuation work.
  • Perform in-depth valuation analyses for public and private entities across multiple industries using accepted methodologies.
  • Conduct detailed due diligence, gathering relevant data from client interactions, meetings, and site visits to inform model development.
  • Prepare comprehensive valuation reports and other deliverables for clients, ensuring clarity and precision.
  • Foster and maintain strong client relationships, providing consistent and clear communication throughout project execution.
  • Collaborate with the engagement team to ensure the effective, timely, and efficient delivery of all valuation-related projects.
  • Should be capable of manage and/or working on multiple projects at a time, overseeing juniors in the team
  • Ability to lead and mentor junior team members

What will you bring? 
  • Experience: 3-6 years in financial due diligence, audit, valuation, corporate finance, M&A, or transaction advisory services.
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) with a strong academic record.
  • Qualified or studying for a professional qualification such as ASA/CPA preferred
  • Experience in Financial Analysis and Financial Modelling
  • Proficient Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong writing skills and experience with developing presentations and reports using PowerPoint and Microsoft Word
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Effective project management and organizational skills
  • Ambitious, results driven, self-starter with a desire to thrive in an entrepreneurial culture
