A&M is seeking a Go-to-Market Leader (m/f/d) - Germany that will work closely with A&M’s Germany leadership team and jointly agree on market facing priorities and strategies.  The German market is a fast-growing focus for A&M and requires an experienced Go-to-Market Leader to expand market presence, awareness and engagement.  The successful candidate will have a proven track record in areas such as marketing strategy and planning, PR agency management and media engagement strategies, and internal communications.

The focus for this role will include (but not limited to) the creation of promotional strategies and campaigns, content recommendations, PR and media strategies, internal communications, case study management and related marketing and promotional activities.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Work with leaders across Germany to identify market opportunities to promote A&M, identify potential market opportunities, appropriately engage media outlets and create internal visibility into the market activities that are producing results.

  • Maintain visibility and recurring meetings with multiple senior stakeholders, building consensus and operating as a trusted adviser relative to go-to-market topics and priorities.

  • Develop promotional strategies and plans to create brand awareness and market engagement for A&M and within targeted accounts through digital channels, media outlets and related.  Market promotion and engagement will be necessary to support our individual business units, employer brand and A&M’s comprehensive value proposition and collective capabilities in the country.

  • Oversee all marketing and PR related initiatives including digital marketing (website, social, other digital channels and related), media relations, press and event marketing, thought leadership promotion and related activities.

  • Create a media relations plan and provide strategies for engaging priority media outlets and working with local agencies to secure placement and promotion of A&M and local leaders.

  • Work with global and regional campaign and PR team members to implement and assess results of promotional strategies and plans and ensure compliance with A&M’s brand and market standards.

  • Work with the global digital team to ensure A&M’s regional website and digital presence is current and engaging.

  • Maintain relationships across A&M’s matrix of go-to-market team members to ensure proper teaming and consistency in market facing activities within the region.

  • Work closely with leadership to advise on, implement and execute proper cadence for internal communications, forums and channels across all Germany based personnel.

Candidate should have the following experience:

  • At least 7 years of experience that includes responsibility for creating market strategies that include marketing campaigns and promotions, PR and media relations and management and related experience.

  • Demonstrated track record of creating impactful strategies that engage local clients, media and talent.

  • Multiple years working in a global, matrixed, professional services organization (consulting preferred).

  • Experience working with senior executive stakeholders, including CEO, COO and division level leaders (or equivalent) to develop go-to-market plans and work with multiple teams to ensure successful execution of those plans.

  • Comprehensive understanding of digital marketing, PR and media relations and communications.

  • Understanding and proven ability to build consensus and connect with leaders, including the creation of executive summary communications that deliver visibility into progress toward goals, opportunities and related items.

  • Self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset.          

  • Fluent in English and German languages
