How you will contribute       

The Manager, Performance Development will play a critical role in the newly created Performance Development Center of Excellence.  This professional will drive key processes and insights related to performance development at A&M.  We’re looking for a versatile technical person, who can leverage data to build insights with clear visuals, interface with leaders, and help our professionals navigate through major performance development milestones.  

Main Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Performance Development Center of Excellence, People Business Partners (HRBPs) and stakeholders to identify and interpret needs and business requirements to develop a solution that accurately meets their objectives
  • Maintain performance development systems, supporting business leaders, People Business Partners and employees through ongoing feedback activity and our mid-year/year-end performance cycles.
  • Act as main point of contact for performance process questions - troubleshooting issues with feedback forms and performance reviews.
  • Partner with HRIS team to execute review cycle tasks, set timelines, etc.
  • Continuously enhance reporting processes, focusing on providing more intuitive and actionable information.
  • Generate and communicate data insights and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.
  • Create materials and deliver training on performance processes/systems to enhance employee experience.
  • Assists in ad hoc projects that require the analysis of data and metrics, and other assignments.
  • Other duties as assigned

Ideal candidate profile: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, Human Resources or other relevant fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, Performance Development, HR analytics or a related field, with a proven track record of success in driving data-driven insights
  • Proficiency in data visualization and data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., PowerBI, Workday, SQL, Python, R, Tableau)
  • Data privacy and security knowledge
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience in Workday (HRIS) is a plus

Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are also entitled to participate in Alvarez & Marsal Holdings’ fringe benefits consisting of healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages at rates determined periodically as well as a 401(k) retirement savings plan. Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive an annual discretionary contribution to their 401(k) retirement savings plan from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave. The salary range is $115,000 - $135,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance.  Please ask your recruiter for details.
