Who are we looking for?


Join our team as a Software Development Manager focused on full stack application engineering and development for the tax practice. Your primary responsibility will be to lead a
team in designing and developing solutions tailored specifically for tax-related processes. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, including tax professionals and subject matter experts, to understand their needs and challenges to architect innovative solutions that address these requirements.


How you will contribute


Responsibilities
•Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of professionals including software developers, QA engineers, and business analysts, to drive the design and development of solutions for tax-related processes.
•Solution Architecture: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and define business problems and requirements. Architect elegant and scalable solutions that leverage technologies such as machine learning, natural language processing, and data analytics.
•Hands-on Implementation: Take a hands-on approach in implementing algorithms and models, ensuring the development of efficient and explainable code. Leverage technologies such as Microsoft Azure, C#, and Python to develop and deploy solutions.
•Testing and Quality Assurance: Ensure that developed solutions meet high-quality standards through rigorous testing and debugging. Review and approve pull requests from team members to maintain code quality.
•Mentoring and Collaboration: Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including tax professionals, IT teams, and business stakeholders, to ensure successful deployment and integration of solutions within the tax practice.
•Project Lifecycle Management: Contribute to all aspects of a project's lifecycle, including documenting requirements, solution development, system configuration, testing, debugging, and ongoing support.


Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
•A practical approach to building software.


•7+ years of experience working with
oMicrosoft .NET, C#, and object-oriented principles
oRelational databases like MSSQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL
oWeb API development and testing
oAzure hosting and utilizing common services


3+ years of experience with
oFront End Technologies like React and JavaScript/TypeScript
oLeading software development teams
oDesigning and Architecting Systems
oDeploying and Implementing solutions
•Strong problem-solving skills and an entrepreneurial approach to work.
•Excellent communication and business writing skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
•Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
•Tax knowledge and related experience is a plus.
