The Team

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to join the growing Global Transaction Tax (GTT) team. This important position will be based in the Mexico City office.

Responsibilities:

· Assist in opening and maintaining project codes and related records utilizing the client administration platform

· Draft summary and analysis of project pipeline and reporting out to MD and Director levels.

· Utilize PowerBI to manage various dashboards for reporting of open projects, sales activities, and key metrics.

· Schedule and organize meetings, conference calls, events, and other departmental activities.

· Coordinate travel plans, hotels, car service, and office space reservations.

· Provide general administrative support (e.g., copying sensitive files, binding, answering phone) and project specific assistance.

· Assist with department activities/special projects as needed and perform other work-related duties as assigned.

· Review client engagement documents for accuracy and execution as well as working with legal department for client compliance

Qualifications

· Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

· Excellent personable and relationship building skills

· Extremely detail oriented; acute attention to detail

· Ability and desire to learn and develop new skills.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills.

· Demonstrates ownership and accuracy of work product with strong follow-up skills

· Must work efficiently and be able to meet deadlines; strong time management skills; prompt reliable service.

· A self-starter who can multi-task and support multiple people with varied personalities.

· Ability to work independently, as well as on a team, in a fast-paced environment.

· Able to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of firm personnel.

· Willingness to be coached / desire and capacity for growth / positive teaming attitude.

· Flexibility to work additional hours as required in the office and remotely.
